I was looking through my wardrobe the other day and i thought to myself " where are all my clothes?! ". Of course there were clothes hanging up in front of me but it was as though all i saw was a row of bin liners! I felt completely uninspired by my wild range of clothes , and i decided that i would have a good ol' spring clear out, and start with the season , bringing in some new and fresh pieces....well that is the plan anyway. As i have been looking around the shops i have noticed alot " so-cal " type trends, i am not normally one to follow trends as such but i really have been liking this sort of " LA cool " and laid back type of trend. The pieces i having been noticing are loads of plain jerseys and loose flowing tops as well as the infamous crop tops , and it really does coincide perfectly with spring and summer time. A perhaps unlikely style icon of mine has to be reality TV star, Kylie Jenner, now she may only be 16, but her style as of late is just parfait. Kylie seems to be channeling some serious 90's chic vibes with her high neck and high waisted all in white ensembles. I adored this outfit as i love how Kylie simply adds her signature Cartier love bracelets and a chunky choker necklace to add some subtle edge to an otherwise plain white outfit. As this is an all white outfit it could of been very boring but the incorporation of different textures and materials with her mesh and leather trousers, adds another dimension in the outfit.
I have been checking out this dress very basic grey dress from Topshop, it does appear to be very plain but with pieces such as this it enables you to dress up or down very easily by just adding those statement pieces accustom to your own style.
